Since April, Bing has been slowly testing a new BingBot consumer agent, slowly rolling it out to extra percentages of crawls over the 12 months. Fabrice Canel from Microsoft mentioned whereas the brand new BingBot continues to be solely doing 50% of all crawls, it would transfer to 100% of all crawls in early January.
Fabrice wrote on Twitter that the brand new BingBot is “nonetheless 50%” of all crawls. “We wished to be extra-safe over the vacations and can go to 100% early January,” he added.
